Transcending All Borders

Herohill has always believed in giving back. Unfortunately, we don’t really make anything, so giving back isn’t always easy. Currently we are teaming up with the transcending all borders relief aid project (TABRA). We are helping redesign the site, and creating Web copy (because, not to blow our own horns, but we write some good content). TABRA wants to help promote a world where everyone is given the chance, both economically and educationally, to succeed and live a complete life.

TABRA forms a global community of people working together to eliminate hunger and to assist in humanitarian issues with the principles of international solidarity, effective action for the individual victim, global coverage, the universality and indivisibility of human rights, impartiality and independence, and democracy and mutual respect.

The purpose of this organization is to provide assistance to those in need, nationally as well as internationally. On an international basis, TABRA intends to respond to both the urgent appeals and chronic problems of countries in crises. TABRA plan to deploy international development projects staffed by members of TABRA. Nationally, TABRA intends to have activities to assist problems in all counties and regions where its members are situated.

TABRA will promote awareness of problems faced by people of the underdeveloped countries as well as shed light upon problems within developed nations. TRANSCENDING ALL BORDERS RELIEF AID will provide urgent financial assistance internationally as well as respond to urgent appeals nationally.

TABRA will have a tent at World Refugee Day (June 20th – Yonge Dundas Square), so please drop by and support not only TABRA, but all the groups that are trying to make a difference. Currently, TABRA is organizing a school project in Pakistan (delivering supplies to a school in Pakistan) and an Orphanage Relief Project in Peru (delivering clothes to an under funded orphanage).

Everyone knows Herohill is about the jokes, but some things need to be addressed seriously. Helping others is one of those things.
