Buck 65 Still Likes Rappin'

Or does he? I'm not sure, more than likely he now views it as a necessary evil. On his last album he tried to break out some spoken-word/singing style and it was awful. Well in my opinion anyway, not sure what everyone else thought about Secret House Against The World, but I think the general consensus is that it was brutal.

But never fear, the only Art-Rapper to ever receive the key to the city from Mount Uniacke NS is going back to his roots. Well, sort of. Buck has recorded a bedroom mixtape that features him mostly rapping over beats from every genre of music except hip hop. So is it any good? Well compared to Secret House it's not bad, but Buck has it available for download here, so why not check it out for yourself.

Not enough Buck 65 for you? Well if you;re in Halifax or can get yourself down here for Friday night, you can check out Buck 65 and the best band in Eastern Passage, Matt Mays & El Torpedo. You can see Buck get art-tastic with his trio, Le Film Noir, as well as an acoustic set from Matt Mays. You don't want to miss that.
