News:: Beat Radio new song!
It has been about a month or two, so it makes sense that Brian and crew are back writing. Seriously - if all my favorite bands were this prolific, I'd never have a chance to listen to anything else.
The upcoming Beat Radio EP - Safe - is coming out soon, and if the first single (People are Talking) is any indication, the band has made a big jump in complexity. The song starts with a slow metronome-like drum beat and Brian's unique voice. The spacey back beat adds another wrinkle, before the tempo gradually builds and the guitar noodle completes a perfect pop sound.
The almost 80's new wave breakdown fits perfectly into the mix and the song doesn't let up for the full three and a half minutes. As always, I'm hoping this one gets Brian the attention he deserves.
