Between the Covers:: Matt Nathanson vs Duran Duran

This might seem like an odd one, but trust me there is a tie in. As far back as my memory goes, music has been involved in my day to day. Whether it was making mix tapes for basketball warm-up (Rob Base and The D.O.C. in effect) or buying a suitcase full of tapes when my family went to Florida every year, I've always loved music.

I wasn't a huge 80's fan in the 80's - and am not really now, although my wife's music tastes have exposed me to a lot more of it - but in Junior High we all used to sit around watching Duran Duran on Ali Starling's TV and it wasn't uncommon for us to throw buckets of water on the girls we knew and just yell - "THE REFLEX!"

So where am I going with this? Well, this web-ispode of Between the Covers features Duran Duran because, well, they are playing here in Vancouver tonight and Nic and I are going. That's right, Duran Duran is back and heading all across North America.
