Video:: The Bicycles

I don't know about you, but nothing gets me through a frigid humpday like fresh video content from one of the funner bands Toronto has to offer. You too? Well then, let's get right to it.

Now, if you were to do word association with the words "fun, music, Toronto", I would not be the least bit surprised if The Bicycles came immediately to mind. I certainly felt this was the case in my review for their last album, the excellent Oh No, It's Love. Well now the Toronto foursome has a new video for the album's title track, and, hang on to your hats here folks: it's both fun AND whimsical, at the same time! Who woulda thunk it? It was also shot here in Halifax at by some NSCAD students, so for us, it's fun and topical. That's a winning combo.

thanks for posting that video! i love the Bicycles! i was actually wearing my "B" is for Bicycles shirt when i was dj'ing as well as played their song "BBBicycles" at my last ((Indie Pop Night)) event i hosted at Gus' Pub just last weekend in Halifax... there is something stronger than all of us can explain when it comes to Halifax and the Bicycles i guess ;) funny video! oh and the "Oh No, It's Love" album is AWESOME! totally bones approved. not that anybody cares or anything... just saying ;)
