Quick Hitters:: The Framework

Granted, they might not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you enjoy hooky, synth-heavy rock & roll, then The Framework and their new album Before Tonight are certainly worth a listen. Of course, with a band like this (i.e. one that people might come across after some series of events that doesn't include receiving a email from a PR firm), the U2 comparisons are inevitable, but I don't think it works here - I don't think stadium rock when I listen to The Framework, more like packed club, sweaty college kids freaking the tight-pantsed funk type rock.
Now that's certainly not my bag (just disregard these size 24 jeans with "That kind of thing certainly is my bag" embroidered on them that I'm sporting today), but if you're looking for something to put and get your foot tapping whilst your brain wanders through work tasks or whatever else you are doing, songs like Always Left Behind, Wasted, Video, She Thinks I'm Famous, and Dynamo are up to the task.
