Contest:: Win 2tix to see Force Fields, Cousins & THe Establishment @ Gus' Pub
I'll have a review up later - one that features press your luck, break dancing robots and Frank Zappa - but for now I want to get a contest up and running. Sunday night, Gus's Pub will play host to two terrific local bands - Cousins (number 16 on our Best-of Canadian LPs list) and The Establishment - will be sharing the stage with "legendary" French rockers, Force Fields.
Force Fields - from what I've heard - offer up a solid slate on instrumental rockers, heavy on tempo changes and transitions. If you read their bio, they signed a 9-record deal with Universal and have even recorded a track with Snow Patrol................... or they are NB's The Fussy Part executing an elaborate rock rouse. Either way, the musicianship is high and it's a solid way to spend your Sunday night.
