Haiti

It struck me tonight as I watched the Canada For Haiti fundraising special that we have yet to mention Haiti and the dire condition it finds itself in after the earthquake that rocked the country on January 12th. It's hard to know what to say really, after all, we're just two dudes with a moderately successful Canadian music blog, who's going to listen to us about a situation of this magnitude? Well, on the off chance that anyone is listening, if you haven't done so already, please donate what you can to the relief & re-building efforts.

Apparently the government will match anything donated to that link above, but the CBC has a list of other organizations that are involved in the relief efforts. Again, I'm sure even the smallest donation would be put to good use.

At 6:57 PM, Blogger Dan Pontefract did sayeth:

I wonder if the Hip's performance of Fiddler's Green will be available a la "Hope for Haiti Now" on iTunes?

My 6 year old donated $20 on her own. My 4 year old wanted to donate two of his cars. My 2 year old gave her banana to the TV.
