Saturday Morning Fun:: Jenn Grant & Buck 65

The last few weeks we've been posting some of the remixes we're sent on Saturday morning, but we're going to switch it up today, mainly because last night I took in Jenn Grant's show with Symphony Nova Scotia, which was pretty amazing. The CBC commissioned Jenn to write an original song for the event and Jenn asked her friend Rich Terfry to write the song with her. I was eager to hear the results, and I certainly wasn't disappointed when I finally heard it last night. Luckily for you, I also happened to record it, and you can check it out for yourself below.

It was a great evening of music, as these maritime pop nights with the NS Symphony tend to be (we saw Old Man Luedecke and Rose Cousins play with them last year), and so if you're in Halifax I'd encourage you to take in the next one (David Myles in April). If you're not out here, the CBC recorded the entire show for a later broadcast on Radio 2, so keep an eye out for that.
