It’s Canada Day here in this big ole country of ours, the day we celebrate the birth of our nation, and the one day where we somewhat reserved folks pull out all the stops and get out patriotic par-tay on. Or something like that. Anyway, things will be quiet around here for the next few days, as both the Ack and I are on a bit of a vacation – he with family in southern Ontario, and I here in Halifax with our annual Canada Day family BBQ (which the Ack is missing, by the way, but I won’t hold it against him).

Anyway, enjoy your Canada Day and upcoming weekend (hopefully a long one for you too) if you happen to be Canadian, and if you are south of the 49th parallel, enjoy your 4th of July weekend which is also on the horizon. So then, to celebrate, I leave you with the best song the finest group ever to name themselves after Chiliwack, B.C. ever produced: My Girl (Gone Gone Gone). Enjoy (responsibly, of course).
