Well, as you can see the hill is back online and malware free (at least for now!). This coincides nicely will Vancouver’s Apollo Ghosts absolutely killing it at Gus’ Pub last night and me having the time to upload some ratty Flip Video recordings of the entire set.
For any readers heading to Sappyfest, MAKE SURE YOU SEE APOLLO GHOSTS. I can’t remember ever seeing a band walk into a new city, kick off a set wearing a cape and stage diving onto like three poor dudes that struggled to keep Adrian up (halfway through the first song), but I was loving it.
Here’s the video for “Sons of Norway”, but the entire set is included below. Enjoy!
Palm of my Hand
Shaolin Barhop
Charms of Cars/Coka-Cola Admen
Witchcraft Lake
Land of the Morning Calm
Little Yokohama
Molly’s Lips (The Vaselines cover)
Validation!
Sons of Norway
Things You Go Through

PS I Love You opened the show, and even though the two-piece was on fire, the simple fact they cranked it to the giga-watts made it impossible to record anything. That being said, kudos Mr. Lead Singer…. your bear and plaid shirt combo are top shelf.
