Blueprint - The Best of Blueprint

It’s Remembrance Day here in Canada, and Veteran’s Day is the US of A, so first of let me offer a hearty thank you to any current or former military personnel that might be reading this. Now, if you’ve done your required remembering, I’ve got a treat for you. I’m straying outside the confines of Canada to bring it to you for a few reasons. Mainly it’s because Ohio MC Blueprint is awesome, and if you don’t know about him, you now have a perfect opportunity to get up to speed on what he’s all about. I’ve been a huge fan since I came across his work with RJD2 as Soul Position, and I searched out his solo stuff to hear more. Blueprint is an MC’s MC, he tours hard (I should mention that his set during the 2007 HPX was pretty awesome), has paid dues for years, and to his credit, he’s still in the game.

As I said, it’s a good reason to put yourself in the know as far as Blueprint is concerned, because he’s put together a best-of album with pretty much all of his best work, and he’s offering it as a free download. So there’s really no excuse not to indulge in some really fantastic hip hop, and if you like what you hear, perhaps buy a little something from him. If I haven’t convinced you yet, check out this poignant post from his site that he put up yesterday. Pretty heartfelt, and I know it hit home with me - we’ve all had situations like that which put your own life into perspective.

Anyway, check out Blueprint for yourself, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
