Dragon Fli Empire - Time & Space Tour

It’s been a while since we’d heard from Calgary MC/DJ duo Dragon Fli Empire (MC Teekay & DJ/Producer Cosm), but I was a huge fan of their last album (Redefine), and so any new news from the DFE camp is welcome in these parts.

 

The news is especially welcome if you happen to be on the coast opposite from ours, as DFE will be touring throughout BC for the next 2 months. But there is still good news for the rest of us, as the guys are offering a free mixtape to accompany this tour via Bandcamp. The Time & Space Tour mixtape features some of the duo’s favorite tracks from their catalog as well as some exclusive new tracks. Time & Space is also the name of an upcoming album from Cosm that will feature a bunch of great MC’s, Canadian and otherwise.

 

So if you’re in BC, go and see DFE live and in person. However, I’d encourage everyone to grab this mixtape, especially those new to DFE, as its a great intro to a couple of talented Calgarians who’ve been making some great, Native Tongue-informed hip hop for a while now.
