Ok, so if you’ve been paying attention here at the hill or anywhere else that is vaguely concerned with the musical goings on here in Halifax, you know that the inaugural M Fest is going down this August in Dartmouth landing Alderney Landing. It takes place Sunday, August 7th, and the full lineup was released yesterday:

Glory Glory

For those keeping score at home, that’s a full doubling of the musical goodness on offer, with east coasters Hey Rosetta!, In-Flight Safety, Carmen Townsend, and Glory Glory (formerly Glory Glory Man United) being added to the bill. Eight acts featuring a mix of interesting names acts from away, and some excellent talent from our own backyard, all for 40-some bucks? Sounds like a winner to me, so once again, kudos to HPX and Live 105 for making it happen. Here’s the ticket information from the HPX site so you can do the deed:

 

Tickets are available now through Ticketpro.ca, their outlets, and by phone at 1-888-311-9090. Advanced Tickets are $39.50 (+ $5 ticket service fee) and day of show tickets are $44.50 (+ $5 ticket service fee).
