Contest:: Win the new book/EP from Apollo Ghost’s Adrian Teacher

For the next week, I’ll be taking my talents to South Beach… well, Orlando actually. Do you care? Of course not, but since it’s for a work conference the posts will be short and sweet. Fear not though loyal reader, while short and too the point, these posts are also full of free shit for you.

Without question, Apollo Ghosts is one of my favorite bands and certainly the most impressive recent musical discovery. Every record, EP, split cassette or cape laden performance is un-fucking-believable. Not only are the songs punchy, nostalgic and heartfelt, Adrian Teacher is the only man to ever utter the phrase, “can I get more cape in the monitor?” Check and mate.

So, Apollo Ghost has a new EP coming out on May 30th. Four new songs that will be up on bandcamp soon, but even cooler, it comes as a download code on the bookmark of Adrian’s new short story book, For What They Do, They Do. Forty pages, self published and at a limited run of 100 copies, this is a keepsake for any fan of the band or the arts in general. You can make with the pre-order now. Don’t sleep.
