Ok, you can stop looking, I found it. You know how for years you’ve been looking for a song & video to replace Summertime as your penultimate summer jam? Well I’ve found it in the form of an updated, Toronto-based version from Kit Knows. As the fashion fates would have it, the ball caps in both videos look pretty much the same, but Kit’s jam is thoroughly modern with its dream pop-feel and it’s beautiful, panoramic video that does a great job of capturing summertime in Canada’s most populous city. Kit’s obviously a prolific dude, so check out his Bandcamp site if you like what you hear.
