A few months ago, Stella Ella Ola reminded us that it was okay to dance around, sing into hairbrushes and harmonize in the car. More importantly, the quartet reminded us that being in a band was supposed to be fun, not more serious than dealing with the IRS.

On their latest EP, , Stella Ella Ola revisit crunchy garage/pop hooks and sing-along choruses, but the call and response, boy/girl vocals are matched with hand claps, bigger guitar sounds and more finger fret work. It’s the same raw, live-off-the-floor sound, but Stella Ella Ola just executes it even better this time better this time around.

Bottom line, these joints smoke; equal parts Wet Hot American Summer, Frankie and Annette and The Muffs. You can download all three songs on July 31st. Your move, Winter.
