I’m closing this Monday with this video for Work Of Heart from underrated Toronto MC and Producer Relic because there isn’t one thing about it I don’t like. The beat is a boom bap classic (the Muneshine remix ain’t too shabby either), Rel attacks it like a pro as he details his life-long passion for hip hop, and the black & video done by Caley MacLennan matches the song perfectly. It’s great stuff and has me looking forward to hearing Relic’s upcoming full-length record.
